While the whole world was buzzing about the homecoming of Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians were busy making room for their former player. And they did so by trading another fast bowling all around to a rival team.
Yes, we are talking about Cameron Green, the Australian all rounder who has been traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the wee hours of the redemption list being released.

According to Hindustan Times, the player has been traded for a whopping fee of 17.5 Crores, which was also his buying price in the mini auction that took place ahead of the IPL 2023.
The player had a great time out for the Mumbai Indians team. He partook in all the games for the team and was able to score 452 runs in 16 games at an average of over 50.
In the highlight of his season, two particular innings will be remembered. The first one came in the steep chase against Rajasthan Royals, when he scored 44 runs from just 26 balls.
Another magnificent inning came in the last inning of the group stage when Green scored his maiden IPL century to put his team over the line and help them qualify for the playoffs.
“With Hardik Pandya drafted in ( ₹15 INR) and Green released ( ₹17.5 cr INR), the purse with Mumbai Indians going into the IPL 2024 Auction of is now 17.75cr INR,” Mumbai Indians said in an official statement.
While Green was traded by MI, there are some popular names that are released by the franchise. The biggest name among this lot is that of Jofra Archer, the injury prone paceman from England has been removed from the squad by MI and will be available for sale in the upcoming mini auction.
