Facing a full-length delivery from Daryn Dupavilion, Brevis lofted the ball high towards wide long-on without looking at it, keeping his head down the entire time. This remarkable shot contributed to his half-century, as he went on to score an unbeaten 66 runs off 32 balls at an impressive strike rate of 206.25.

Brevis, a right-handed batter, had been going through a lean patch with only 75 runs in his last six innings, but his outstanding performance in this game marked a return to form. The innings included six maximums and three boundaries, helping his team reach a formidable total of 248/4 in their allotted 20 overs.
Expressing his excitement after the match, Brevis credited his return to form to the support and guidance of skipper Kieron Pollard, who backed him throughout the league stage.
